The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has decided to part ways with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), marking the end of a 60-year alliance.

This decision follows IUML's recent inclusion in the Ministry, prompting a strategic shift in its political alignments.

Looking ahead, IUML intends to work with the Tamilaga Vivasayigal Katchi (TVK) in the upcoming Assembly byelections, Lok Sabha elections, and local body polls.
